Take my heart and tear it away.
It is full of sham, anyway.
Break it into pieces.
Bash it hard with no kindness.
Wreck the pretence.
Crack the hypocrisy,
And wash away the vanity.
For my heart is the temple,
The centre of my haven.
O tear my heart apart,
And cleanse it away!
